Minor information

Racers who are 17 years old or younger must have both parents present the first time they race each season. Both parents are required to sign Minor Release and Waiver forms. Once both parents have signed, the racer needs only one parent present to participate.The parent who signs the rider in must be present at the track at all times while their minor rides.

Parents should recognize that all motor sports are inherently dangerous and involve the risk of serious injury. The use of all available protective apparel, following the safety rules and using common sense may reduce the risk of injury.

When you join the MRA you assume responsibility for you own safety. Please carefully read all of the forms required before you sign.

We do not allow minors to be signed in by anyone other than their parents. Although other tracks do, we feel that in case of injury is is far to important the parent(s) be present to make any medical decisions regarding the racers care. Because the response time is so fast to our tracks, there is no time to wait for parents to arrive before making critical decisions. This is for you own good and the good of the tracks. Over the years we have seen severe injuries and not only at our tracks. As with all injuries, the sooner treatment can be rendered, the better the outcome.
