All events are run whenever possible. Of course it is impossible to accurately forecast weather and night racing is dependent on lighting. Other situations may arise that are beyond are control and it best for everyone to not continue or we may not be able to continue. Just as the promoter takes the risk by running scheduled events, racers also must assume risk of attending outdoor night time events. In extremely rare instances we have been unable to successfully finish events.

We use the following guidelines in periods of poor weather and other situations. We may vary from these guidelines at the promoters discretion.

* If practice and 1 moto is completed, it is considered a race. Full awards and points will be given.

* If we don't run practice and 1 moto, a rain check will usually be given for the racer and spectators.

* We may delay, hold or cancel the event as necessary.

* Rain checks given at Milan Cycle City and Delta Raceway may be used at either track at any time during any season.

These guidelines have been made from using our over 25 seasons of experience. We feel this is fair to the racers and the tracks. Keep in mind, the cancellation policy is at the promoters discretion. Until the decision is made to continue, hold, delay, postpone or cancel, no rain checks are given for any reason.

When in doubt about the weather, please check your local forecast. On race day please call the race track for up to date event information. The MRA office phone number gives a recording of the scheduled events and usually does not announce cancellation information.
